We have just returned from an amazing 2 night stay at Chitty Chitty. It was a surprise for my husband’s 70th birthday. The well equipped tent was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was all ready for us on arrival with plenty of spare logs as well as towels and robes! We laid and soaked with our wine in the tub beside the river watching ducks and listening to all the various birdsong!! The kitchen area was equipped with gas and all the pans and crocks necessary to cook up breakfast and make drinks. A fridge too. Phone charging point. Good washing up area with hot water. Nice hot powerful shower private room with sink and proper loo. Everything was perfect and clean. We heard wonderful dawn chorus from all the array of birds and (I think) frogs at night - nature at its best! There’s lots of different walks too. We stumbled upon Nethergong campsite and Puddledock campsite (where a shop was open selling gorgeous creamy ice cream tubs!) we weren’t expecting that! We had an evening meal at The Gate Inn (walk or short drive) and last morning breakfast at The Spitfire Teashop a short drive away. Thank you to our lovely friendly hosts who were excellent at answering queries etc and smooth booking experience.

We had an amazing time. The owners are warm, friendly and accommodating. The scenery is beautiful and the tent/ hot tub/ BBQ are all good quality. Toilets / showers are clean. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for a gear trip

This is our 2nd visit and as before had a fantastic time! The bell tent is amazing everything you need is there. The owners are really lovely and nothings too much trouble. We had 2 tents for 3 nights and the 6 of us had a really brilliant stay. Pj's, good food and plenty to drink made the stay even better! We certainly will be booking again.x

Stayed here for 2 nights for our wedding Anniversary, such lovely surroundings. The bell tents are so beautiful and spacious,with our own robes and towels. We had our own kitchenette with everything we needed. We also had the Gorgeous hot tub to relax in.The washing facilities was immaculate. We will be returning, Well worth the stay, get what you pay for👏👍

We have had such a great experience at this beautiful Glamping site! Wow where do I start! Firstly we was welcomed in with help with luggage! (Yes I brought too much!) and shown to our tent, which was the Orchid tent(includes hot tub) the tent was beautifully set up and clean which included robes and towels and flannels and fresh bedding. The bed was very comfortable which was great! The hot tub had already been heated up for us so was nice to get straight in. The kitchenette was provided with everything you would need with a fridge aswell. We had privacy in our tent area aswell as the hot tub area. The hot tub was lovely and warm and was lovely to just sit back and enjoy with a glass of wine, and a lovely view of the lake with the ducks and geese. The hammock was lovely aswell to just sit back and relax. They had 2 showers and toilet cubicles which was very clean! And the shower was very nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone!! Great for families, couples, friends absolutely anyone! I am definitely going to rebook very soon! Thankyou so much for a lovely stay! Xxx

Lovely small campsite and area. Upon arrival was met by lovely people and was taken to our bell tent for the couple of nights stay. Was lovely and clean and we had great weather too. Had use of a fridge, gas ring, kettle with all kitchenware supplied so only had to take our clothes and obviously our food/snacks. There is also a lovely pub on route called The Gate Inn and would highly recommend a visit. Would definitely return to this campsite.

Just back from two fantastic nights staying in the Orchid tent. It’s such a beautiful setting and the tents themselves are spacious, clean and look lovely. Fantastic attention to detail, with kitted-out kitchenette and we were very grateful for the USB port. We explored the nearby coast and had a lovely stay. Thank you to Rebecca.

Had a fantastic stay at Chitty Chitty Glamping, the tent was spotless, comfortable and surprisingly spacious! All the little luxuries were exactly what was needed for a hassle free camping trip - gas stove top, fridge, power pack, shower unit, kitchen utensils and a fire pit. The guys there were warm and welcoming, gave us some great recommendations of what to do around the area. Took them up on the advice to do a canoe trip just a 20min walk over the field. Highly recommend this place.

Welcome to paradise! This is the perfect getaway - we only live 20 minutes away, but felt like we had travelled abroad! This is a great staycation venue if you want to escape to the best of the Kentish countryside. Miles of untouched, unspoilt scenery is just outside of the site if you fancy a walk, but the site itself is so idyllic you may not feel the need to! The wood-fired hot tub has the most beautiful of views, and the hammock is so peaceful you may just spend hours chilling & listening to the birds! The beds are so comfy & the tents so clean - the owners definitely have great taste with the decor too. We spent the weekend as a couple relaxing, unwinding & generally feeling very content with ourselves. Highly recommended :)

Stayed here bank holiday weekend and it was absolutely stunning. Peaceful, quiet and so relaxing. Many places to visit nearby, we got a taxi into Canterbury had a lovely meal then headed back to the site early to take advantage of the hot tub. Becky, Nathan, Ann and John were amazing hosts, nothing was too much. We had plenty of wood for the hot tub and BBQ and the tents and shower facilities were immaculate. We had a basket of tea and coffee on arrival and the complimentary homemade soap was a lovely gesture (and it smelt amazing!) My bed was so comfy I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Will definitely be returning. Thanks so much
