Wonderful mix of new and second hand stock. And a few large layouts for our delight! Good prices as well.

The man in this shop was rude he wanted 38 thousand for the whole buisness then refused to sell any merchandise!

Vast selection of Hornby models and some N gauge. If passing it's worth a visit and a browse around.

Normally we love this shop. The staff are knowledgeable and most of the time are reasonably priced. However, just before Xmas we purchased some small stocking filler presents. As we were in a rush we picked up a track rubber and bought it for £5... only to pull the price tab off before wrapping a few days later to find one underneath saying £1.39. I understand its a trade in shop as well but, that's a huge mark up and has made us weary of using them again.

A proper model shop with lots of stock at sensible prices. If you're down to Margate to visit Hornby don't bother, come here instead. Great range, some boxed, some unboxed. There's a running model layout to test purchases on and the owners are friendly and welcoming.

A hidden jem of a model railway shop on the A28 near Upstreet. Plenty of second hand OO gauge trains and some other scales, along with layouts on which locomotives are tested. There are also some buildings for potential layouts as well as accessories. Prices are competitive for second hand locomotives and rolling stock, with a large number of Hornby trains no longer on sale from Hornby.

I'm a complete train newbie - the guys were super helpful, didn't talk down to me because i didnt know what something was and showed me all sorts of tips and tricks. Realllllly good selection of second hand bits, a few paints and loads of nice scenery. Only critism is put more photos of your stock on google and the website guys as the current photos really dont do the shop justice! Keep up the hard work.

What a find. With an extremely limited availability of model railway shops this outlet is a gem. Amazing selection of all things model railway. Took a poorly class 75 in and it was fixed on the spot. Technical knowledge and advice as well. Well done.

A wide selection of new and second hand Hornby locos and rolling stock, plus a smaller range of new items from other makers such as Bachmann. A large 00 gauge model railway is being built in the shop but was not running on the day I visited. Worth a visit but more general modelling items such as paint and more scenery accessories would make it even more worthwhile.
